Video Title: Life Cycle of Plasmodium | Malaria and the Life Cycle of Plasmodium | Video for Kids

#Malaria #Plasmodium #LifeCycleofPlasmodium #MalariaSymptoms #MalariaPrevention #Mosquitoes #MalariaLesson #PlasmodiumLesson

Malaria is transmitted by infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. When someone get bitten by a mosquito which carries the malaria parasite, the parasite enters into the bloodstream. It is then carried to the liver, where it multiplies.

Plasmodium is a genus of parasitic protozoans that fall under the family Apicomplexa, the class Aconoidasida and the subclass Coccidia.

The plasmodium parasite displays a complex life cycle as it uses a mosquitoas a catalyst to carry and transmit the dangerous disease. Plasmodium includes three stages- Gametocytes, Sporozoites and Merozoites.

The tiny particles called atoms are the basic building blocks of all matter.

Around 450 B.C., Greek philosopher Democritus introduced the concept of the atom. In 1800, John Dalton re-introduced the atom.

An atom is made up of three parts – protons, neutrons and electrons.
The current modern model of the atom shows an atom that has mostly empty space.

Let's learn about atom with this video.
