The first step to learning how to paramotor or use a paraglider is called Kiting. This is where you practice controlling the wing (the thing that looks like a parachute) while on the ground. Learning paramotoring this way makes it safe but it is also fun.
Kiting is important to learn proper control to keep the wing fully inflated and stable during flight. This is done by using the left and right toggles, which flexes the wing to advance, fall back or turn.
