NatureHike VIK 1 Tent Review

Hi friends! Halfway through my 2019 Appalachian Trail thru-hike, I decided to change tents. My Big Agnes Fly Creek 1 was falling apart (literally) and even the gear repair specialist at Trail Days couldn't fix her problems.

But then I found the NatureHike VIK 1 on Amazon and knew this was the one! After all, i wanted a budget-friendly, single-walled, free-standing tent (phew! that's a mouthful). And while I had some of the classic problems - a touch too short for my height, traditional condensation issues - I loved using this tent.

The first half of my hike I tried to stay in a shelter every night I could. But after I got this tent, it was my refuge and shelters no longer restricted my hike. Suddenly I was free to camp anywhere AND everywhere... and I did!
