Thay vào đó, Cầu Hang Tôm được xây mới hoàn toàn với chiều cao lớn hơn rất nhiều.
Tuy nhiên khi nhắc đến Cầu Hang Tôm, người dân hai tỉnh Điện Biên và Lai Châu sẽ còn phải nhớ mãi tới kì tích này.
