This wing is the Ozone Element 3 in a medium size (22 square meter). Though we would never attempt to fly in this wind, we figured it'd be some good practice. The video was mostly made for entertainment but a close study could be worthwhile when learning how the wing reacts and what you should (or shouldn't) do in certain situations.

For this ice test I used the COleman Xtreme 52-Quart cooler completely filled with ice and 6 of my favorite beers. The cooler was prechilled 24-hours before and the drinks were also prechilled.
The Xtreme cooler was kept outside (but in the shade) for the entire test with daily temperatures around 70 degrees during the day and with lows of around 50 degrees at night.
I opened this Coleman Xtreme ice chest 5 times per day and broke up all the ice on day 3 as it had formed into a large block.

My name is Lauren Barnes. I'm with the American Association of Snowboard Instructors. Leapers are a great tactic to use for soft snow, steeps and ungroomed soft terrain. The main focus of a leaper is to be changing edges off of the ground. So as I initiate my turn, I'm going to get nice and low and I'm going to flex my ankles, knees and hips. As I'm getting ready to change edges, I'm going to pop up and extend hard so my snowboard comes up off of the snow. That's when I'm going to change my edges. As my new edge comes in contact with the snow I'm going to flex down to make for a nice soft landing so my snowboard can ride out smoothly and I don't put too much impact on my body. I'm going to continue that flex down into the new turn so I'm ready to initiate the next one.
