Real versus fake lacoste sweater; side by side comparison.


Lacoste only sells to its authorized dealers etc, its own stores and stores like Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, Urban Outfitters... etc. Then a common response to me has been well they are factory seconds. Lacoste DOES NOT sell factory seconds they destroy them. Lacoste strives for the highest quality and would not want their name ruined by a factory second this is why they stop producing with Izod for years now. Now, to give you an idea of what the cheapest a Lacoste shirt can get, Lacoste at their factory outlet which is basically last seasons Lacoste, are discounted around 40% that is what I have been told by Lacoste employees.

THE BUTTONS

The Buttons are one of the signature aspects of the Lacoste shirt. All Genuine Lacoste shirts use Mother of Pearl Buttons. Since Mother of Pearl (MOP) is produced by good old mother nature, no two buttons are alike. Also on the darker Lacoste shirts the buttons will be a darker MOP. Also all Genuine Lacoste shirts will only have two holes in their buttons sewn vertically. Now there is some debate out there if Lacoste shirts can have three buttons and the answer is yes, but the solid color shirts will only have two.
Now a fake Lacoste shirt will have the crocodile on the button its self and will also have Lacoste written on the button. Theses buttons will be made of plastic and will have two holes in them sewn horizontally. I have heard that some Lacoste shirts do have the crocodile on the button, but I think that they still have two hole in them. While this may sound disgusting one sure fire way to tell if the button is MOP is to bite it. You will be able to tell if it is MOP by doing that. Just because it has MOP buttons does not make it real I have seen fakes with MOP buttons

PRODUCTION LOCATIONS
While I have heard many things about how Lacoste has factories all over the world, I personally have shirts from Peru, France and Morocco. Any other country and ether it is a fake or a lower quality production or I do not know about yet. In the United States multiple brands are sold the majority coming form France or Peru. The majority of the polo's (I do not know about the other products) come from Peru. Any Shirt that is made in any Asian country, Argentina and India should be avoided. Now some fakes have tags that say made in Peru design in France. So this is no longer a way to tell it is genuine, but this is how it should appear. Also i have been told that they were once written in Spanish, but are no longer written in Spanish along with the English so this may be another way to spot a fake.

Sizing
Now this is a very simple but important section on the tag of the Lacoste shirt the sizing must be done in numbers. I thought that all Lacoste shirts were made in European sizing I came across some at Bloomingdales that used US sizing, while these were the sport Lacoste, (three buttons) any solid color polo will be done in European sizing.

A Fake Lacoste will have the sizing in M L XL and will only have one tag on it.

EMBROIDERY
Now this is the best way to spot a fake. All fakes have the croc in line with the slit on the polo see bellow, while the placement does vary by a couple of centimeters, but not a couple of inches. Any fake will have writing on the arm, (vintage may be different) also the croc will have Lacoste embroidered on it. All Genuine Men's Lacoste will have the croc sewn on via a patch, the women's version is embroidered directly on.
The official logo is a deep, dark green with noticeable teeth and claws. The top jaw is smaller than the bottom jaw and is angled upwards. The crocodile’s tail should be rounded and point in the same direction as the jaw, not at the crocodile. The eye should also look more slit-like than rounded.
If the crocodile looks cartoonish and lacks detail, the shirt is a sure fake.
Lacoste’s Vintage brand is an exception. The crocodile will be high-quality but the same color as the shirt.
The logo is a patch that is lightly sewn on from behind. You won’t see the stitching when you look at it from the front. Look out for stitching around the patch’s border, loose threads, or needle hole marks. These are signs that the polo is a fake
The crocodile will be in the middle of the left side of the shirt. It should be between the bottom stitching on the collar and the second button. Low-quality fakes often align the crocodile with the bottom stitching. That stitching may also appear crooked.[3]
A few real Lacoste versions also align the crocodile with the bottom stitching, so don’t depend on this one observation.

When you pick up the box does it show the barcode and manufacturer’s details? What about an accompanying brochure: does it have one? If the sunglasses are real and not fake they’ll feature the model number, colour, lens and frame size as well as the manufacturing country on the sunglasses' arms as well as on the box.

Open the box and look at the case. This can be a dead giveaway. Real Oakley sunglasses come in a premium quality hard case or soft pouch, usually with a logo. Genuine Prada sunglasses are sold with a black microfibre cloth and a perfectly centred Prada logo. The lettering is distinct, evenly spaced and straight. Is the case missing or emblazoned with dodgy lettering? That’s one way to know if sunglasses are fake.

Whatever the brand, the lenses on designer shades should be of superior quality. On classic Ray-Bans they’re made from glass. But even if the sunglass lenses are lighter, try them on and look at the sun. You can usually tell by comparing them with a good pair of sunglasses as the lens should soften the light but retain clarity. If the sun feels harsh on your eyes, put them back.

The "Shadow" style of the Celine 41026/S Sunglasses are made with gradient lenses that appear nearly half tinted. However, its impossible to find knockoffs that are made with the half-tint. Most designer inspired makes are produced with lenses that smoothly transition between dark and light tints in the lenses. See the authentic half tint below worn by Christine Centenera.

Look carefully and you'll notice that the front frame on the authentic tilts slightly inward on the downward angle. The replica does not. The front of the frames on the replica are mainly at a 90-degree angle with the temples (arms).

Nông Văn Chuyền được biết đến như là một runner cộm cán trong làng chạy bộ Việt Nam với những thành tích nổi bật như:

Thế nhưng ít ai biết, chàng trai sinh năm 1995 ấy sinh ra trong một gia đình nghèo khó. Tốt nghiệp THPT, Chuyền rời quê hương Lạng Sơn vào miền Nam tìm cơ hội lập nghiệp. Cầm 1 triệu đồng trong tay, điểm đến đầu tiên của anh là Đà Lạt và nghề đầu tiên mà Chuyền kiếm sống là phụ hồ, sau đó là chạy bàn ở quán ăn.
Sau một thời gian, anh chuyển từ Đà Lạt vào TP.HCM, công việc tiếp theo là bốc vác để có miếng cơm sống qua ngày. Chuyền nhớ lại: "Thời điểm đó là năm 2013, tiền công bốc vác của tôi mỗi ngày được 100.000 đồng, chỉ đủ để tồn tại.
Có thời điểm tôi nhớ là mình hết sạch tiền, không còn một ngàn trong túi, nhưng may là một người họ hàng cho vay 1 triệu đồng. Tôi đi học matxa và gặp may khi bà chủ cho nợ tiền học, đến khi làm được nghề rồi mới phải trả 5 triệu đồng học phí.
Thời gian ở TP.HCM rảnh là tôi đi chạy bộ, chạy cho khỏe và chạy để quên đi khó khăn chồng chất mà mình phải đối mặt. Tôi nhớ mình đến với chạy đường dài từ năm 2013. Lúc đó, bất chấp mọi khó khăn và để thỏa mãn đam mê cá nhân, tôi đã bỏ ra hơn nửa tháng lương mua BIB (đóng lệ phí tham dự giải) tham gia một giải chạy bộ phong trào, còn giày thì mua trả góp".
Năm 2015, do mẹ bị suy thận phải điều trị tại Hà Nội nên Chuyền quay về Bắc chăm sóc mẹ. Tháng 11-2015, mẹ anh qua đời khi mới 38 tuổi, còn Chuyền thì tròn 20. Sau đó, Chuyền lấy vợ, sang Trung Quốc làm thuê, xuống Bắc Ninh làm công nhân, đi buôn bán... việc gì có thể kiếm ra tiền anh cũng làm và tiếp tục chạy bộ. Chạy bộ không chỉ để khỏe, nó là đam mê và là "tôn giáo" của anh.
