Counterfeiting is definitely not an instance where imitation is the highest form of flattery. Protecting trademarks is not just about protecting business interests; it's about protecting consumers and the health and safety of the people who make clothing around the world.
The iconic and trademarked Levis red tab (including the red color) and the familiar arcuate or batwing stitching that grace just about every pair of Levi's jeans have come to stand for more than just well-made product. Now, Levi's is often faced with counterfeiters who want to make money by taking advantage of the goodwill, reputation and quality associated the Levi's brand.
There are so many variations and deceptive production tactics used by counterfeiters to specifically deceive you, the best advice is to buy authentic, quality Levi's from authorized retailers.
Counterfeit products are often listed on eBay and sold to unsuspecting buyers as "genuine" or "100% authentic" items at prices close to retail.
Find the red Levi's tab on the back right pocket of your jeans. This red tab is present on almost all pairs of Levi’s and has become a well-recognized icon all around the world. It is a good starting point for identifying Levi’s Jeans as authentic or fake.
All genuine pairs have the tab, however, on a few styles of jeans, the tab may be a different color, like green, or yellow, or white.

Ensure that the stitching around the tab is clean and consistent. If it is messy, or looks tampered with, these may be a fake pair. A lot of fake manufacturers un-stitch the denim of regular jeans and sew the tab in to make them look like genuine Levi’s
Look out for ‘The Big E’ on the tab. A capital E in Levi’s is only present in pre-1971 pairs of jeans. If a pair is claimed to be from after 1971 and has the ‘Big E’, that indicates that it is a fake pair.[1]
1 in every 100 pairs will only have a ‘registered mark’ instead of Levi’s sign. This is because they have to change the ribbon on the machine and run through a label without Levi’s stitching on it
Feel the patch’s texture and softness. The material of an authentic patch will have a little bit of texture and feel soft and worn. The material shouldn’t feel too smooth, or too hard. A lot of fake manufacturers use cheap leather or a substitute. If the patch feels like it is covered, or has a plastic feel to it, this may indicate that your jeans are counterfeit.
Check the overall build quality of the jeans. Levi’s has a very high standard for quality control. If there are any faults in the stitching, or on any of the metal work, chances are they are fake, or they may need to be returned to Levi’s for inspection.

ĐỒ NGHỀ LEO NÚI, DÃ NGOẠI
Phần 2: Chọn Giầy
Giày leo núi là bộ phận quạn trọng nhất trong những đồ bạn cần trang bị để leo núi. Có nhưng tiêu chí sau để bạn có thể tham khảo:
Thứ 1 đó là đế giầy:
Đế giày rất quan trọng với địa hình mà chúng ta dự định đi, đầu tiên đó là gai ( hoa văn) dưới đế giầy. Giầy loại núi thường có hoa văn ngược nhau ở bàn chân và gót chân. Bởi chúng ta phải leo lên và đi xuống dốc. Các gai ngược nhau nó sẽ làm nhiệm vụ giữ chắc hơn cho chúng ta khi đi lên hoặc đi xuống.
Chúng ta thường nghĩ gai to, rảnh sâu hầm hố thì giầy leo núi tốt nhưng theo tôi quan trọng là chất liệu và chống mài mòn của đế giầy. Đế giày leo núi thường được làm từ cao su có khả năng chịu mài mòn tốt, cứng, để ít bị hao mòn, bảo vệ bàn chân tốt hơn. Gai sâu bạn dùng để leo núi nhiều đất, dễ mưa thì nó sẽ khó trơn hơn.
Chất liệu tốt thì giày leo núi sẽ có độ bám đá rất cao, bạn hãy thử trượt trên sàn gỗ hay gạch đá hoa sẽ thấy rõ một đôi giầy bám đá nó rất khó trơn.
Công nghệ chống mài mòn trên các đế giầy leo núi nó có nhiều ký hiệu, phổ biến là Vibram.Bên cạnh đó còn có các công nghệ riêng của mỗi hàng như Omni-Grip, MeinDl ,X-Grip, FX-Grip….
Thứ 2 đó là độ chống thấm nước
Tùy mỗi địa hình mà chúng ta sẽ chọn giầy thoát nước hay chống thấm nước, như nếu bạn đi vào nơi có nhiều suối, hoặc như vừa rồi tôi lội suối leo trong hang thì giầy thích hợp là thoát nước nhanh. Tuy nhiên, các ngọn núi của Việt nam cùng với mùa leo núi thì giầy leo núi thích hợp sẽ là giầy có chống thấm nước.
Có rất nhiều các công nghệ chống thấm dùng cho giày leo núi nhưng phổ biến nhất được nhiều người biết đến như Gore-Tex, Sympatex, Comfortex, Texapore, Aquamax... Nó sẽ có những ký hiệu đó trên giày.
Tuy nhiên mọi người thường nhầm lẫn giầy chống thấm nước là nước vào sẽ không thoát ra được. Đó là nhận thức sai lầm và thường chưa trải nghiệm nước chui vào giầy thoát ra thế nào.
Các giầy leo núi đều có đặc điểm chung là công nghệ chống thấm 1 chiều. Có nghĩa ngăn không cho nước thấm từ ngoài vào trong nhưng vẫn có thể thoát hơi ra ngoài, giúp thông thoáng.
Chính vì lý do đó, giầy chống thấm nước cũng sẽ không thể chịu được lâu khi bạn ngầm vài phút dưới nước, hãy bước nhanh qua những vũng nước, dòng suối nước thấp thì oki.
Thứ 3 đó là loại giầy cao hay thấp
Giày leo núi thường có 3 loại, thấp cổ, cao cổ và cổ lửng
Cổ thấp dễ leo, di chuyển linh hoạt, thoải mái và nhẹ nữa. Tuy nhiên nhược điểm nó không che mắt cá chân của bạn nên có thể bị thương nếu chủ quan khi leo các ngọn núi đá phức tạp. Hoặc nước, bụi cáy dễ vào hơn. Bạn có thể khắc phục bằng xà cạp hoặc cái bó mắt cá chân. Người mới bắt đầu nên dùng loại này
Loại cao cổ thì bao vệ rất tốt nhưng ngược lại leo khá khó, không linh hoạt, mà còn nặng nữa. Bạn chỉ nên sử dụng khi đã có kinh nghiệm leo núi rồi
Loại cổ lửng Tôi thường dùng vì khắc phục được tương đối tốt những điểm yếu của giày cổ thấp, bảo vệ khá tốt chân bạn và cũng góp phần giảm khả năng cổ chân bị trật khi đi trên địa hình gồ ghề. Và không quá nặng. Nhưng nói chung thích hợp các chuyển đi dài ngày, mạo hiểm một chút, hoặc khi đi dã ngoại phải tự vác đồ nặng (khoảng 15kg).
Thứ 4 đó là Cỡ giầy
Khi leo núi khác với đi lại sinh hoạt hàng ngày là bạn phải đi liên tục, và còn đi dốc cao lẫn địa hình gồ ghề. Thậm chí chân bạn vừa hoạt động liên tục với phải chịu sức nặng ko chỉ của cơ thể mà cả ba lô, khiến bàn chân nở ra, to hơn bình thường một chút.
Chính vì vậy giầy leo núi thường phải chọn lớn hơn khoảng 1 cỡ ( hoặc nửa cở tùy loại). Đừng bao giờ cảm giác bó sát quá. Không bạn sẽ bị bong da chân, hỏng mỏng chân hoặc sẽ đau hơn ở các đầu ngón chân.
Bạn cứ thò ngón tay trỏ của mình ở gót hay ở bên cạnh mà vẫn chậm đc đầu ngón tay xuống đáy là được.
Lưu ý bạn hãy cắt ngắn móng chân khi leo núi đấy nhé. Cũng như đi tất thích hợp. Ít ma sát nhất.
Thứ 5 đó là trọng lượng
Giày càng nhẹ thì đi càng đỡ mệt, tất nhiên nó phải cân đối với khả năng bảo vệ đội chân của bạn. Một đội giày nhẹ nó thường từ khoảng 600g đến 1,2kg, tùy cả cổ thấp hay cao.
Thứ 6 đó là lớp lót
Lớp lót không chỉ liên quan đến êm chân, thoát khi tốt mà chính là liên quan đến việc giữ ấm đôi chân.
Thường khi chọn giày ta nên đi thử 1 chút để sao chọn đc loại có lót đủ độ êm , ôm chân, giảm ma sát giúp giảm nguy cơ bị phồng dộp chân do di chuyển nhiều.
Đa phần các giày leo núi ( kể cả chống nước) thì lót trong giầy vẫn là vải có lỗ to, để giúp thoáng khí, thoát hơi, mà lại khá êm.
Giầy lớp lót ấm thường ở các nước lạnh nhiều hơn.
