"Today we'e on the verge of starting a vaccination campaign against pneumococcal disease in Yida refugee camp (in South Sudan). What we would like to do is actually vaccinate all the children under five against pneumococcal disease but we simply can't afford to do that at the prices we're being made to pay for the pneumococcal vaccine." -Dr. Greg Elder, Deputy Director of MSF Operations

Giày Converse All Star thật vs giả. Cách phát hiện Converse Chuck Taylor giả
00:00 - Intro
00:18 - The tongue logos
00:47 - The visible logos

02:21 - The metallic rings

Examine the Chuck Taylor patch. The real patch has a navy blue star, whereas the fake one may have different shade of blue. Also, the original will be stamped with only a star and Taylor's signature. Be leery of emblems that are not clear. Many fake ones look blurry and have other design elements or words.
All Stars also come in such a wide array of styles and colors. The logo won’t always be blue and sometimes the patch is made of rubber.
Examine the star itself and be sure it is a clean print.
Image titled Spot Fake All Star Converse Step 3

Look at the trademark. Shoes made before 2008 will have the ® symbol under the All Star logo. If you see this symbol on shoes made after 2008, be cautious. Check the stitched logo as well. Although it may appear authentic, if you spot a patchy or unclear logo, it’s fake.
A shoe known worldwide under its own name? We can imagine “Chuck Taylor” – nicknamed “Chucks”. Everyone knows them and many of us love the comfortable sneakers from Converse . The trend shoe from Converse was already designed in 1923 and originally developed as a basketball shoe. Since then, the legendary shoes have reached worldwide cult status and have now sold nearly a billion times. Already stars like James Dean or Elvis wore the trendy Chucks in their time and even today the hype around the sporty shoe is unbroken. Converse All Star are the perfect shoes for leisure. Whether you combine your Converse shoes casual with jeans or wear a sweet mini dress with floral print: the original Chuck Taylor fits almost every look.
The most important features of the High Top Chucks are clearly the logo patch on the inside of the shoe. If you find a shoe that has the logo on the outside of the shoe, it is 100% a fake model and can be used as an exclusion criterion. An original Converse shoe has the round logo patch always on the inside of the shoe. The patch itself consists of a thin, round rubber layer. The circle of an original Converse shoe is exactly 4.6 cm in diameter. The patches of fakes are usually slightly smaller. On the logo patch are the letters “Converse All Star” in uppercase letters as well as the name of the model “Chuck Taylor”.
The logo of Fake Converse shoes is often out of focus, not color, the color can be blurred or the font differs from the original. In addition, the logo is often found on the logo of Fake Converse shoes. It is the trademark for a registered trademark. Original Chucks have not integrated the “R” since 2008 in their logo! Second hand, however, you can still get a vintage Converse model, which is branded with the old logo.
In order to use the shoe tongue in an original Converse shoe as a recognition feature, it is of relevance whether it is a low or high top model. For every Low Top model, the Converse All Star logo has the tongue on the tongue – but not on the high top models. Traditionally, this is a thin, rectangular canvas fabric sewn onto the shoe tongue. However, there are also original Converse models, which are only a print. Whether sewn or printed: the logo should be clearly recognizable. A fuzzy writing or a bad processing of the seams should make you immediately stupid. It could be a fake. Whether low or high top: the tab contains a small patch on the inside, which contains information like the Country of manufacture, the model number and the shoe size.
THE SOLE OF THE ORIGINAL CONVERSE SHOES
Also the sole of the original Converse provides you some identification features for authentication.
Inner sole: The inscription “Converse” is printed in capital letters in the inner sole of each chuck. As with all other logos, the print should also be clear and clear. With vintage models, this can be worn off by wear, of course, and does not have to mean a fake. However, all Converse sneakers should be the brand name on the inside sole.
Outsole: On the outsole, you can also hide whether you are dealing with an original or fake. So check it out, if you can spot conspicuousness. For every Original Converse shoe you will find a small part on the outer sole, which incorporates the Converse logo.
For authentic Converse All Star size in the last column given in centimeters, not mm for fake shoes.
Insole can have or haven't patent number, it is not said anything and depends on model.
Original box of course. Don't buy Converse All Star sneakers packed in plain paper or plastic bag.
Converse text logo on the insole looks purple? It is a fake Converse All Star.
Real shoes have Converse logo on the heel in addition to All Star text. All logos should be positioned straight and accurate.

Đồ lót Calvin Klein thật vs giả. Cách phát hiện võ sĩ CK giả
Packaging
When you buy a product, the first thing that should let you know what is inside is the packaging. The underwear should come with details such as product name, size, code and color. The authentic Calvin Klein undies usually come with white corrugated boxes. The boxes have high-quality imagery and print at the front as well as a small item at the back.
You should also watch out for spelling mistakes in the name of the product. For instance, Calvin Klein can be written as “Calvin Krein”.
The logo uses a different colour and font. Specifically on the C of Calvin you see that on the genuine ones above the whole C is curve but on the ones I received the C is not 100% curved it has a straight line for the middle of the C. Another example of the logo is that the dot on the I in Calvin Klein uses a dot and is high above the logo. On the ones I received the dot is a square that they are like 1px above the I.
In most cases, the fake Triumph underwear will look similar to the original. However, most fake products have the wrong size particularly in areas such as the fly and gusset. The fake products also have poor stitching which is not of the same standard as the original. The stitching should be tight with professional finishing. There should be an overlap of the fabric at the waistband. The text at the waistband is usually distorted, unlike the genuine product. A good example is the “e” which is commonly misspelled. In the original product, the “e” is usually in a semicircle.
Several Calvin Klein underwear sold on eBay are fakes. We buy direct from Calvin Klein and receive the cheapest prices available and discounts on old stock first, so we know the price points at which other people can sell at. A trawl on eBay by myself has made me pretty certain more than 90% of listings a.

Burrs and rust on your ski edges cause drag and slow you down on firm snow. Learn how to properly maintain your ski edges so you can enjoy a fast and fun day on the slopes. We’ll show you how to inspect the edges, remove burrs, polish rust and wipe the bases clean. Shop REI’s selection of ski tuning equipment at http://www.rei.com/c/ski-tuning-equipment.
Transcript:
Rusts and burrs on your ski edges cause drag and slow you down on firm snow; so, getting rid of these abrasions can help them perform their best. Extensive edge work and sharpening should be done at a ski shop, but minor work can be done at home. You'll need a clean towel, a diamond stone, a gummy stone, and rubbing alcohol. Start by placing your skis on your ski vise. If you don't have a vise, you can use a couple stacks of books to balance your ski. Be sure to lock your brakes up and out of the way. You may need a rubber band for this.
Inspect the edges for rust and burrs. To avoid cutting your finger, run your towel along the edge to feel small nicks. These nicks will snag fibers and show you where you need to work. Any rough spots that you find need to be filed smooth without damaging your edge. This is done with a diamond stone, which is designed to remove less material than a file, so you're less likely to damage your edge if you slip. It's still important to go slow and be careful. Start by wetting the diamond stone and running it over the burrs, using the base as a guide. Make sure to keep pressure on the metal edge to avoid scratching the base material. Focus on areas that have more rust or burrs, but make sure to cover the entire length of the edge.
For minor rust, use a gummy stone. Gummy stones feel like hard, gritty erasers. They're less abrasive than diamond stones, so they're great for polishing. Next, repeat the process on the side edges. Make sure to keep the diamond stone flush with the edge. This is the trickier part, because you can't rest the diamond stone flat on the base, so pinch it and use your fingers against the base. Keep pressure light to avoid doing too much. Remember, tip to tail. When you're done, run the gummy stone lightly along the edges for a final polish. Finish by using your towel and rubbing alcohol to clean off any metal shavings.
To recap, start by inspecting the edges to locate trouble areas. Use a diamond stone to clean off nicks and small burrs. Polish off rust with your gummy stone and clean off the base with rubbing alcohol. Once you're done with the edges, it's time to take a look at the base.
